We had our end of the year team lunch here, and the food was amazing. We had ceviche, salad, Brussels sprouts, lomo saltado, chicken, and empanadas. One of my coworkers got the Panna Cotta for dessert, which looked yummy also. Service was great (bonus points for being able to accommodate 24 of us), and I'm sure we'll be back someday.
The Best Restaurant in Oakland. I’ve been coming back and back again to this place. Anytime I want to impress my Friends, Business associates and my girlfriend I don’t even think just bring them here. Everything on this menu is uniquely delicious with flavors you won’t get anywhere else and it all looks amazing too for the gram photos if your into that! Haha the staff is Fantastic with great service and very open parties and dogs. You can just head in and get a Michelin star quality food experience.
My family went a few days ago for my dad’s birthday and we’re still talking about the food. The seafood was fresh, the ceviche was addicting , the steak was huge, the rice was amazing and the drinks were really good!! The service was also amazing. We asked for recommendations and they didn’t disappoint obviously. We were checked on multiple times by different staff through the dinner. They even were able to sing happy birthday to my dad and had a sparkler! We’ve already recommended this place to others! From what I can remember we had mango lemonade, pisco sour, the purple drink in the photo?, mixto amarillo? ceviche (3 different types of ceviche) arroz con pollo, antichucho con pollo, churrasco, the chocolate bandido and mango panna cotta. 100% would go again!!
A great addition to the neighborhood. The food was amazing. The cocktails well crafted. Very courteous waite staff. My guests repeated how happy they were to have found Limon and it's wonderful Peruvian Cuisine. A very vibrant Oakland scene! Not the place for a quiet cozy dinner. We loved the place!
Overall food was amazingly tasty, specially I got hooked on spicy ceviche, specially being finicky about ceviche. Atmosphere and staff service adds more value to the delicious food. Prices can be in higher side but worth it
Awesome location with a great selection and top notch quality. The Dorado en salsa de mariscos had the best scallops I've eaten along with a beautiful piece of mahi mahi and a beautiful prawn. The La podersoa with chicken got a great review and everyone left happy. Definitely worth a drop in.
This place was absolutely deserving 5 stars. Stopped in before a concert in Oakland. The staff were friendly attentive the minute we walked in the door. The waitress gave good recommendations. We tried a variety of stuff, first time trying their food so we went a bit overboard but so worth it. Staff were paying attention to all tables as soon as a plate was done, empty it was removed. Great atmosphere.
The dining experience provided an exceptionally delicious and authentic meal. It is highly recommended. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding.
Food is really good, servers are nice and friendly, it’s not a cheap place (keep that in mind) but I promise it’s worth it, this is my third time here and I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh and delicious Peruvian style cuisine.
Came here to celebrate my father’s birthday. Great food and excellent service. I highly recommend the lomo saltado, beef empanadas, veggie ceviche, and of course the pollo asado. Parking may be a little difficult but it is worth it. Also try the yucca fries!
